This is one for the enthusiasts. The Nike Air Max 1 '86 Big Bubble OG Red / DQ3989-100. We go back to 1986. It took Nike 3 years to regain the beloved shape and appearance with modern technology. Will you add it to your collection?
The Air Max 1 started with the innovative design of Tinker Hatfield. Because honestly, where did that air cushion in the sole come from? The public was not immediately open to it. It was considered eccentric and unusual. Tinker Hatfield believed in his design and with great success today the Air Max 1 is one of the most worn models in Europe.
Now let's take a look at what Nike has prepared for us. Available from 26-03 on our Air Max 1 page
The sneaker is characterized by the red, gray and white colors spread over the sneaker. It is similarly set up as the Air Max 1 Anniversary OG Red from 2018. In the images below we will highlight some differences. Think of the shape of the nose, the mesh on the toebox, the midsole on the back of the sneaker and of course the "Big Bubble". With this release we also see that Nike has thought about the box.
